From the Announcement of L&F management (Boomer Foster and Gary Scott :
As a family of companies, we remain open for business, but we are closing our sales offices to the general public as of March 17. Following the social distancing recommendations from the CDC, we’re closing the public’s access to Long & Foster’s sales offices throughout our markets until April 3. At that time, we will reassess.
Our locations will remain accessible for our agents and employees, should you need to access supplies or systems, although we encourage you to work remotely whenever possible to help limit the spread of coronavirus.
We are instituting a telework policy company-wide and are leveraging technology to continue our operations. Our agents and employees, including our branch managers and admins, are encouraged to work from home from now until April 3, leveraging digital tools to continue business operations as usual. If you need to meet with your teams or one-on-one, we encourage you to use Zoom or other online meetings.
For now, real estate closings will continue at the offices of Long & Foster Settlement Services partners, and we are creating guidelines that balance the needs of our clients with the safety-first approach necessary in today’s world. Any agents and clients who are working with the Long & Foster Settlement Services team will receive more details on these processes.
As you know, the situation is continually evolving, and we’ll keep you updated as new and relevant information is available.
